The custom-engineered 300kg-class vacuum atomization powder production equipment developed for Taiwan Koyo has been in stable operation for several years, facilitating the client's localization of high-end powder manufacturing equipment and demonstrating the robust capabilities of mainland China's high-end equipment manufacturing sector.

In 2016, with the aim of advancing the localization of atomization powder production equipment and reducing procurement costs, Taiwan Koyo initiated a comprehensive evaluation and selection process involving numerous manufacturers across mainland China. Distinguished by its mature technology in the field of vacuum atomization powder equipment, extensive manufacturing experience, and a proven track record of supplying equipment to high-end sectors—including nuclear power and aerospace—Zhuzhou Shuangling emerged as the top choice from a pool of over five prospective vendors, successfully securing its position as a strategic partner to Taiwan Koyo.

Leveraging its extensive portfolio of patented technologies and its close collaborative ties with key domestic laboratories, Zhuzhou Shuangling took full charge of the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of this 300kg-class vacuum atomization powder production system. By strictly controlling every performance parameter, the company ensured that the equipment met the rigorous demands of high-end metal powder production. The system was successfully brought online in 2018 and has since operated with exceptional stability and reliability. Currently, Taiwan’s Kuang Yeng is utilizing this system for the mass production of high-end metal powders—including high-speed steel and materials for 3D printing—thereby achieving a simultaneous enhancement in both production capacity and product quality.
